Shipping & Delivery FAQ

Thank you so much for your order! 

At Perch Home we process orders within 1-2 business days Monday to Friday. Orders placed over the weekend will ship the following business day. We ship out of our retail store in Maplewood, NJ via USPS and UPS.  Local delivery and curbside pick up is also available. By processing your payment and completing an order with us, you accept the following terms and conditions regarding the shipping and delivery of your order.

 

DOMESTIC SHIPPING ONLY

  • Shipping under for purchases under $75 is a flat rate of $8.95
  • Shipping for purchases over $75 is FREE.  (Some larger items may have handling fees.  This will always be noted on the product page.)
  • Priority shipping is available.  Please call the store and order over the phone for exact shipping cost. (973-821-4852)
  • Tracking numbers will be available via your online account. Generally it takes 1 or 2 days for the number to get scanned and then 2 - 7 days for delivery. 

CURBSIDE PICK UP

  • Curbside pick up-orders are processed from within 2 hours on the days our retail store is open.
  • Please indicate in the notes section if you want the items gift wrapped.
  • You can pick up at the counter or call 973-821-4852 five minutes prior to arrival to have it brought out to your car.
  • Our employees wear masks for your safety and we ask you to do the same if they approach your vehicle.

LOCAL DELIVERY

  • Local Delivery is available in Maplewood (07040) and South Orange (07079) in NJ for purchase over $50.
  • Local Delivery orders are generally hand-delivered to your door within one to two days or order.
  • Our drivers tend to deliver between 4PM and 8PM. If you have specific suggestions for delivery (drop-off placement, time, whether or not it is a surprise, gift wrapping, a pre-delivery call) please enter the information in the notes section. 
  • Our delivery people wear masks for your safety as they approach the door and we ask that you do the same when you open the door.

GIFT WRAP and PACKAGING

  • If you need items gift wrapped please enter the information while checking out into the NOTES box.
  • All purchases can be gift wrapped for free with our signature tissue with ribbon.
  • Baby gifts are wrapped in our signature baby blue and kraft tissue with ribbon.
  • Upgraded presentation gift boxes with a lid, wide satin ribbon, gift tag, and brass feather or paper flower embellishment are available for purchase here.
  • If you need to include a hand-written note please put the exact wording in the NOTES box while checking out.
  • Perch Home is committed to recycling and green packaging methods. We try to reuse all peanuts, bubble wrap and other packaging materials received at our retail store and encourage our customers to do the same! Any gift wrapping materials and bags that we purchase for the the store are biodegradable.
